Children and young people

John 21 – lego style. Produced by kids from St John’s Church, Weymouth
Kid’s Church

Kid’s Church happens each Sunday during the 10.30am service at church. This is a time for the children to worship, to meet with the Holy Spirit and to learn more about following Jesus. This all happens through fun games, craft activities, great worship songs and exciting Bible stories. Parents are welcome to come out to Kids Church too – especially if you’re new or visiting.

Ignite Youth Group

Ignite is our Sunday Morning group for school years 5-8. Held at Hope House, we meet together during the 10.30 service to chat about our week, play a game or two, and learn more about God. We often have a little breakfast too if time allows! Visiting children / young people are always welcome, but we ask that parents make themselves known to the Welcome Team or Wardens, just so that Ignite helpers can introduce themselves and discuss any additional needs.

More about Ignite.

Stay and Play

We have an area at the back of church full of games, books and things for children to do. If your little ones would rather stay in church than go to a group then you’re very welcome to make the most of this area.

Once a week young people in school years 7-9 get together with Elliott and Jos for an evening of games, food, chat, Bible study and worship. It’s a great opportunity for going deeper with God, growing in faith and developing friendships. For more info about this group please get in touch.

Kids and Youth Worship Online

Since the Lockdown of 2020 we have started regular Online sessions for children and young people. Sometimes these are stand alone sessions and sometimes they are incorporated into the Sunday Online service.
