St John’s Primary School

We have a very close partnership with St John’s Primary School. Children visit the church several times throughout the year for special services and interactive RE lessons. Rev Tom leads Collective Worship in the school on a weekly basis and serves as a School Governor. You can find out more about St John’s School here:

New Wine

Each summer members of the church go to the New Wine Summer Conference. Rev Tom is also part of the New Wine Leadership Network.

The Lantern Trust

The Lantern Trust are a fantastic local charity whom we support and work with. They provide a range of services and practical support for local people in need. St Johns is one of the night shelter venues for the Safe Sleep Project which the Lantern and Refresh co-ordinate.

Pot-Luck

Here’s the idea. It’s really quite simple: To make cheap healthy meals for you and your family.

Maybe you are put off the thought of cooking from scratch. After all, not everybody has the skill to do this. Some people may have lost the knack, others never had or even needed it. So a group of us, who all enjoy cooking, got together and started the cooking workshops to help people make meals in a friendly setting where we were all in it together.
